Labs: Research: Building Class Upgrades

These upgrades increases the damage against turrets, and increase the defence of your turrets and HQ's, When starting these upgrades you can specifically target a weakness and help make your defence even more durable, until you have completed all 144, which really make a difference in the long run.

As an example your Ice Ice Icon Turrets are incredibly weak against Poison Poison Icon Monsters, upgrading that tree will grant up to an additional '80% Defence Vs. Poison' Overall a steady and easy lab option to have running in-between your other chosen upgrades!

Use the above image as a guide to that is best affective against which colour, and reverse the arrows for weakness, i.e. Red is highly affective against Green, and green is extremely weak against Red, so its recommended to start upgrading Poison Vs Fire first before upgrading Poison Vs Ice/Poison.

Defence Labs and how they are calculated (We think)
The Combined Total of all your defence lab work can add up to a maximum of 2.0 Mil of additional bonuses, when your building labs are fully upgraded, this is shown by the purple number alongside your def rating, This is a combination of Building Class Upgrades & City District Upgrades as a rough estimate, City district contributes 80k Per District, an overall of 320k Base Value when maxed, leaving a combined 1.68Mil From Max Building Class Upgrades, a singular Turret or HQ Contributing 84k to your total.

This means each lab upgrade will add approximately 12k if you have max amount of HQ's (4) and Max amount of turrets (16).

Your bonus from labs adds the same amount regardless of the turrets level, a level 1 will show the same lab bonus as a level 61, because of this some players place low level turrets to lure players into thinking they are attacking a weaker base with more Turrets spread out.

Building Class Materials
These Three materials are the easiest materials to attain out of any of the materials needed, these come from your Experiments and are awarded through completing, gold, silver & bronze experiments, during early stages of play, you will only find yourself low on materials if your focus is just one one elemental upgrade.
