Salty is a Nuke monster that attacks in a line while dealing a special, focused attack to one building. It was introduced during the Shark Week 2014 event, and was buffed for the Salty: The Revenge event.
All Saltys have the same unique attack, each ability switches the focus of the line attack, from furthest, centre or closest Square to the salty attacking side, and only has no cool down period on any abilities.
Salty appears as a reanimated shark augmented with mechanical parts and side-mounted guns. During transformation, it gains larger guns, mechanical fins, and an advanced targeting system.

Mutagens Grant a Passive ability in battle when mutated to a monster, 5 Star DNA is required to to be used as a transform ingredient.
Every Monster has an ultra monster mutagen available in a lucky roll of the Mutagen Creator for 50. Second mutagens have been released during but where only available for a set period of an event (Generally 2 weeks) unless you acquired one during the event you will have to wait until SMASH releases them again, this has been confirmed it will happen, just not when.
Platinum Ultra Blue Salty
Legendary Ultra Green Salty
Platinum Red Newyear Salty
Legendary Green Newer Salty
Ultra Mutage: 10% Extra Medals Rewarded During a Battle.
New Year Mutagen: 20% Attack Bonus.
DNA is what is required to be collected before your able to mutate a monster, you will need 1 DNA, a Platinum or Legendary Monster and the Mutagen.
I would recommend keeping all salty DNA until you have one 5* and then sell any after this at 3* for maximum Dark matter
